Detectable Pens

Filaco Food Safety Solutions supplies a comprehensive range of metal detectable and X-ray visible pens for food processing, beverage manufacturing and other hygiene-sensitive production environments across Africa.

Our range includes one-piece, retractable and refillable pens, with options designed for different working conditions including general production areas, cold and freezer environments, and applications requiring gel ink. A variety of housing and ink colours is also available to support colour coding and identification procedures.

Detectable pens help reduce the risk of foreign-body contamination by making writing instruments easier to identify should they accidentally enter the production process. Many of our pens are also refillable, helping reduce waste and the ongoing cost of replacing complete pens.
