Detectable J850 Gel DetectaPen®

The J850 Gel DetectaPen® is a retractable gel pen designed for food processing, pharmaceutical and other hygiene-sensitive production environments. Manufactured from XDETECT® plastic, the pen body is both metal detectable and X-ray visible, helping support foreign body contamination controls.

The J850 incorporates antibacterial silver ion technology and features a durable, shatter-resistant construction. Its spring-free design has no detachable internal parts, helping to minimise breakage, germ traps and contamination risks in production areas.

A 0.7 mm stainless steel-bodied gel ink cartridge provides smooth, consistent writing with an estimated write-out length of up to 850 metres. The J850 is suitable for food processing environments with ambient temperatures from approximately -5°C to 30°C.
