DetectaBox®
The DetectaBox® is a heavy-duty metal detectable storage and handling box designed specifically for food production environments. Conventional plastic boxes can chip or break through repeated use, potentially introducing undetectable plastic fragments into the production area. DetectaBox® helps reduce this risk by making the box itself detectable.
Manufactured from BST’s XDETECT® polymer, the DetectaBox® is metal detectable and x-ray visible while providing the strength, impact resistance and chemical resistance required for demanding food processing environments.
Its standard Euro dimensions allow the boxes to be stacked for efficient storage and handling, with compatible caster dollies also available for transporting stacked boxes around production facilities.

Storage and handling boxes are frequently exposed to knocks, abrasion and repeated handling within food factories. If a conventional plastic box becomes damaged, fragments can potentially enter the production environment without being identified by metal detection equipment.
DetectaBox® provides an additional level of foreign-body control by incorporating detectable material throughout the box. Its robust construction also makes it suitable for repeated handling, storage and transportation of ingredients, packaged products and other production materials.
